We always enjoy working with adult patients and like the many options that we have in creating great smiles for them. The new techniques and appliances we use greatly reduce discomfort levels, decrease the frequency of visits, and shorten treatment time. Many of our adult patients have traditional metal braces, some have tooth-colored ceramic braces, and many are enjoying the esthetic benefits that Invisalign offers.

Adult orthodontic treatment is particularly helpful in the fight against gum disease. Crowded and crooked teeth are more difficult to clean, contributing to bone loss, receding gums, and cavities. Poorly aligned jaws are known to contribute to TMJ (jaw joint) disorders, breathing problems, speech impediments, and inefficient chewing patterns.
